World Children'S Day 2024 Theme Sinhala. International children's day is celebrated on june 1 and universal children's day is on november 20 and in sri lanka, it is commemorated on the 1st of october each year. The day marks the united nations general assembly’s adoption of the declaration of the rights of the child in 1959 as well as the (uncrc) in 1989.
